It was an early start to a Saturday of rugby against Coromandel in Coromandel Town!

With a two o'clock game on a hot day and a hard track, the team played into the sun and up hill with a good start applying early pressure to the Coromandel line.  This resulted with a penalty to Dan C to lead early 3-0.  In the second quarter the Coromandel team came back demolishing our scrum and competing at the break down with lots of aggression which lead to a try which was unconverted.  Score 5-3. 

The game was littered with stoppages and penalties, AGAINST US!

The second half continued much the same as the first with the score staying the same until the 79th minute  when "Super Sub" Grievous - scored the winning try! and Jesse G converted to make the score 10-5.

To win at Coromandel is HUGE.  Their team and parochial growd has legend status, so to come away with 4 points was pleasing to all.
